PartenairesPartenaires du 2nd Congrès de l'European Labour History NetworkL'Association Française de l'Histoire des Mondes du Travail (AFHMT)Créée en juin 2013, l’Association Française pour l’Histoire des Mondes du Travail (AFHMT) entend promouvoir les recherches qui s’effectuent dans ce domaine. L’AFHMT s’adresse aux historiennes et historiens, mais aussi aux chercheuses et chercheurs de toutes les disciplines qui souhaitent prendre en compte la dimension historique des questions de travail. Membre fondateur du Réseau européen d’histoire du travail (European labour history network) et de son conseil de coordination, l’AFHMT entend coopérer avec les associations françaises et étrangères dont les objectifs croisent les siens et renforcer les liens entretenus avec les centres détenteurs de documentation et d’archives.
European Labour History Network - ELHNFondé en octobre 2013 à l'occasion d'une réunion à l’Institut international d’histoire sociale d’Amsterdam, qui a réuni une quarantaine de chercheurs, dont 4 membres de l’AFHMT, représentant 19 pays. Cette réunion a décidé la fondation d’un réseau européen, autour de deux missions principales : • d’une part, organiser de larges conférences afin d’assurer la visibilité du champ, de permettre aux jeunes chercheurs d’y rencontrer leurs homologues, et de favoriser les recherches croisées. • d’autre part, structurer de manière très souple des groupes de travail fonctionnant de manière autonome sur des programmes de recherche précis. Ce réseau s’est doté d’un comité de coordination sous la houlette de Marcel Van der Linden (Pays-Bas) et réunit Stefano Musso (Italie), Silke Neunsinger (Suède), Leda Papastefanaki (Grèce), Tibor Valuch et Susan Zimmermann (Hongrie), Donald Weber (Belgique) et Xavier Vigna (France).
La Società Italiana di Storia del Lavoro - SISLavThe creation of SISLav has taken place in a period of sustained international interest in labour-related issues, favoured by the awareness that the structural causes of the economic crisis lie in the increase in social inequality and in the deterioration of workers’ rights and their material and juridical conditions. Moreover, more refined research methodologies, better preservation and use of sources, and the enormous growth of experiences and contributions make historical reflection on the world of labour relevant to understanding the on-going processes of social, cultural, political and institutional transformation. SISLav embraces interdisciplinary and diachronic approaches, and seeks to investigate labour history in the long-term, in order to shed light on the continuities, discontinuities, and dynamics by which multiple types of labour relations intertwined with the formation of social groups, identities, social and political behaviours, forms of organization and the brokerage of conflicting interests.

International Institute of Social History (IISH)Work and labour relations deeply influence how we live. The International Institute of Social History (IISH) examines how these relations develop globally over time. To conduct this historical research and support other researchers, we collect archives and data from all over the world. Established in 1935, the IISH is one of the world's leading research institutes on social history. Since 1979 the IISH has been an institute of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW). The collections, some of which concern politically sensitive materials, are the property of or have been issued on standing loan to the independent IISH Foundation. An international evaluation committee of the KNAW concluded in 2011 that the research department performed 'world-class research' and that the research programme was 'paradigm-shifting'.
Society for the Study of Labour History (SSLH)Founded in 1960, the Society for the Study of Labour History (SSLH) is the UK’s principal organisation dedicated to the study of labour history. Membership is open to everyone who would like to learn more about labour history and heritage whether on a professional or amateur basis. The SSLH publishes the journal the Labour History Review, organises regular conferences and actively promotes the preservation of historical resources connected to the labour movement. Since 1960 Labour History Review has explored the working lives and politics of ‘ordinary’ people. It has played a key role in redefining social and political history. Since its foundation the SSLHhas actively encouraged the preservation of labour history archives, objects (banners, cartoons, ephemera)and printed collections. International Conference of Labour and Social History (ITH)The International Conference of Labour and Social History (ITH) is an international network of research institutions and historians concerned with the history of labour relations, labourers and labour and other social movements. Asociación de Historia Social (AHS)La Asociación de Historia Social (AHS), cuyo primer acto de presentación pública se llevó a cabo en 1990 con motivo de la celebración del I Congreso de Historia Social en España (Zaragoza, septiembre de 1990), viene desarrollando desde entonces una importante labor en este terreno. Nacida con la intención de constituirse como un foro abierto para todos aquellos que desde ubicaciones académicas o laborales diversas, se interesan por la investigación en ese amplio, complejo y todavía no cerrado campo, y albergando la intención de desbordar la especialización cronológica que compartimenta los grandes procesos de la Historia Social en diferentes edades (Antigua, Media, Moderna y Contemporánea), la Asociación cuenta en la actualidad con unos 200 socios, y ha llevado a cabo ya ocho importantes congresos (1990, Zaragoza, 1995, Córdoba, 1997, Vitoria, 2000, Lérida, 2005, Ciudad Real, 2008, Vitoria, 2014, Madrid y 2016 Tarragona) que han dado lugar a las correspondientes publicaciones, Publicaciones AHS La sede social de la Asociación se encuentra en la Facultad de Ciencias Políticas y Sociología, Campus de Somosaguas, Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Despacho 13.04) -28223 Madrid.
Treball, Institucions i Gènere (TIG)El Grup de Recerca "Treball, Institucions i Gènere" (T.I.G.) és un Grup de Recerca adscrit al Departament d’Història Contemporània de la Universitat de Barcelona que va començar les seves activitats l’any 1990. Els seus objectius son promoure la recerca i la docencia en el camp de la Història del Treball desde la perspectiva de Gènere. En forma part i col·labora amb diversas asociacions entre les quals en destaquen les següentes: Associació d’ Historia Social, Associació d’ Història Económica, Associació de Demografia Històrica, Associació de la Ciencia i de la Tècnica de Catalunya, Associació Española de Investigación de Historia de las Mujeres, Asociación de Mujeres Investigadoras y Tecnólogas, Associació d’Història del Treball. Així mateix col·labora asessorant i dirigint els projectes de nombrosos Arxius, Centres, Grups i Fundacions de Recerca i estudi de Catalunya.
L’Association pour l’étude de l’histoire du mouvement ouvrier (AÉHMO)L’Association pour l’étude de l’histoire du mouvement ouvrier (AÉHMO) a pour but de faire mieux connaître l’histoire politique et sociale du mouvement ouvrier en Suisse romande, en Suisse et au-delà. Elle publie chaque année, depuis 1984, ses Cahiers d’histoire du mouvement ouvrier. L’AÉHMO est née d’une exposition organisée à Lausanne, en 1979, pour le cinquantenaire du Cartel syndical vaudois. En effet, les commissaires avaient constaté la difficulté de réunir de la documentation et la dispersion des archives syndicales. Ils avaient également pu mesurer combien les manuels d’histoire ignoraient les références au mouvement ouvrier. Convoquée par Roland Rapaz, l’assemblée constitutive a réuni une trentaine de personnes, lausannoises pour la plupart, militants syndicaux, enseignants d’histoire et quelques rescapés d’un groupe d’historiens qui, dans les années 1968-1971, avaient déjà constitué un premier cercle d’études sociales. En 1980, un dépôt d’archives est établi au Service des manuscrits de la Bibliothèque cantonale et universitaire de Lausanne-Dorigny et un groupe de travail est lancé pour des recherches bibliographiques.
Global Labour History Network (GLHN)The Global Labour History Network is an interdisciplinary network of historians and other social scientists, founded in Barcelona on June 16, 2015. It unites local, national and regional scholarly associations, journals, archives and museums as well as committed individuals, who aspire to further study of work and workers in the broadest sense. Research topics include: paid and unpaid work, free and unfree, productive and reproductive labour, in all areas of the globe and without temporal limitations. The GLHN promotes research, the collection of data, the sharing and mobilization of knowledge, and the preservation of archives and other historical materials. The network encourages the formation of collaborative transcontinental working groups and envisages the organization of global conferences.
